Freestyle Gymnastics

Term 5
Monday 15th April - Sunday 26th May

FreeG

‘FreeG’ is a dynamic and exciting sport which fuses parkour, gymnastics, freerunning and martial arts for children in School Year 2+.

FreeG includes somersaults, jumps, kicks and flips. Baskervilles are one of the leading providers of FreeG in the UK. We believe skills learned in this sport can be put to good use in a variety of other activities, including skating, biking, skiing, climbing and surfing.

FreeG Testimonials

“Our daughter has been going to FreeG classes for a couple of years now and she absolutely loves it. The class combines elements of gymnastics but with extra fun, and some really amazing and encouraging coaches. Being a bit unsure of new people and environments, this is the one class where she will go in on her own, even if none of her new FreeG friends are there. Only wish I'd been able to do FreeG when I was a kid!”

“An amazing place to both work and participate in Gymnastics. Baskervilles have helped me work up to be an Assistant/Lead Coach working towards my Level 1 qualifications with amazing support from the other coaches. A very friendly and professional atmosphere! I started at here in the FreeG classes and continue to participate in them.”

“I have been at Baskervilles for nearly a year now and have loved my time here. I come from a freestyle and parkour background. The freeG classes are an amazing place for me to expand my skills as we have a structured programme allowing us to work and develop our freeG each week with the help of the coaches. I have not been at a centre before that brings this level of structure to parkour and freeG which has been great for me to experience. However, we are also allowed a large level of personal choice and development with what we learn making it the perfect combination. I have now joined the Baskervilles coaching team and this has been equally awarding with great support from other coaches helping me improve my skills to coach school age gymnastics and freeG. I would definitely recommend the freeG sessions to anyone interested in them!”
