Baskervilles is a family run organisation where everyone in your family can get fit and have fun.
The main part of our work is with children and we specialise in offering competitive and non-competitive gymnastics training. We also offer fun-filled pre-school classes and soft play sessions for little ones. Adults are well catered for at Baskerville’s too and we run a host of fitness classes in our fully equipped gym. You are welcome at Baskerville’s whatever age, size or shape you are. The most important thing is that you enjoy your fitness and get results, which is exactly what we aim to provide.
We started over 25 years ago as a Gymnastics Centre and now employ over 30 full and part-time coaches, who have a wealth of experience in gymnastic and fitness training. We’re registered with the British Gymnastics Association and work to strict national safety and performance standards. The gym at Englishcombe Court in Bath is equal to the best equipped in the country. It’s used as a Regional Training Centre for Coach Education and is also a centre for local, county and regional competition.
From as little as 4-months old children can enjoy Baskerville’s. We hold Mum and Baby Fitball Classes, toddler softplay sessions, adventure gym and much, much more. Our aim is to help your little ones start a lifetime of enjoying health and fitness. We also run children’s parties, providing your little ones with a day to remember. We have a dedicated Teen Fitness instructor who is an expert in helping young adults reach their fitness and lifestyle goals. From gymnastics to fitness classes, teenagers are well catered for here at Baskerville’s.
We’re one of the few gyms in Bath to offer a fully supervised crèche and we offer provision to cover a large number of our fitness classes. For adults we run many fitness and gymnastic classes as well as providing a fully equipped gym and sauna. You can come on a membership or pay-as-you-go basis.
