Baskervilles will receive a visit from Olympic medal winner Beth Tweddle this February, who will be coaching a Gymnastics Camp over the February half term.
Tweddle’s career highlights include competing at three Olympic Games, including London 2012, where she won a bronze medal on the uneven bars, as well as becoming World Champion three times, European Champion six times and National Champion seven times. In 2010, Beth was awarded an MBE for her success, commitment and dedication to gymnastics.
In recent years, Tweddle’s many endeavors include commentating on gymnastics Championships and the Olympic Games, and running Gymnastics Camps in gymnasiums around the country, allowing gymnasts to experience ‘Training With Beth’.
Tweddle will be running sessions at Baskervilles on Sunday 12th February. Sessions will start with a warm-up and stretch led by Tweddle, followed by coaching on five separate apparatus. There will then be a series of competitions, dances, fun games and prizes. At the end of the session, gymnasts will be given a goody bag and have the opportunity to get autographs and photos with Tweddle.
